  • In the weeds: I like to be on the ground, with the user, solving problems, attending events, hosting sessions, everything. I love doing the work.

  • Writing: I’ve found my writing has drastically improved over the last several years. The amount of content I write and publish—it’s a lot.

  • Experimentation: There’s never a one-size-fits-all approach. Experiment!

  • Cross-industry skills: There isn’t a specific playbook for the set of skills you need to succeed. I love that.

  • Finding solutions: Sometimes it’s not super glamorous, but that’s part of the gig. I like to dig into problems and find solutions.
