I’m always trying to find quicker, more efficient ways of completing tasks. I also aim to differentiate what’s urgent vs. what’s important. If everything is urgent, nothing is urgent.

Calendars also play a role in this discussion. If you were to take one look at my calendar, you would see a whole bunch of time blocking for focused work.

If I was meetings all day, when would I actually get my work done? Time blocking is essential for me. It also reminds people that I protect my time. And that not everything needs to be a meeting.
