My habits: Starting the day at the gym

For many years now I’ve made it a habit to go to the gym. Wherever I was living, whatever my circumstance, I was consistent. And it’s always first thing in the morning. Starting my days strong.

Mon-Fri I run 4mi. Each day is a different speed; I’m trying to get it down to 30min total. As I write this, I average between 32min-34min, which isn’t bad, but I would like to shave off just a bit more time.

Runner’s high is real. I can clear my head, reduce anxiety, and just sweat. If I’m sweating, I’m working. It’s that simple.
